Our Founding Angels

Four Paws Legacy Cat Rescue was created in honor of four extraordinary cats whose lives shaped our purpose. Their spirits live on in every rescue, every cabin we build, and every act of kindness shared with our sanctuary.

Princess — 18 Years

Princess spent nearly two decades by our side. Gentle, wise, and endlessly loving, she taught us patience, compassion, and the quiet strength of a cat who trusts deeply. Her long life is the foundation of our mission.

Herman — About 14 Years

Herman was a brave soul with a tender heart. His resilience and loyalty inspired our commitment to giving second chances to cats who need stability, safety, and unconditional love.

Whisky — 1 Year (FIP)

Whisky was only with us for a short time, but his impact was enormous. Playful, curious, and full of personality, he brought joy to every moment. Losing him to FIP changed us forever and strengthened our dedication to medical care, awareness, and early intervention.

Beaner — 1 Year

Beaner was soft, sweet, and deeply connected. His gentle presence inspired the calm, comforting environment we strive to create for every cat. Though his life was short, his memory is woven into the sanctuary’s peaceful spirit.

Our Memorials & Tributes page is a space where supporters can honor their own pets who have crossed the rainbow bridge. Whether a cat, dog, or any cherished companion, every tribute is welcomed with love.

Supporters will be able to submit:

Dates
A short story or memory
Optional memorial donation

Each tribute will be added to our Sanctuary Tribute Wall, becoming part of the legacy that helps future cats find safety and care.
